Kindergarten Round-Up
The annual Kindergarten Round-Up for new kindergarten students is held at each Elementary School in the spring. The District also conducts a Kindergarten orientation in August. Once dates and times are released more information will be posted on our website.
The event allows parents to meet kindergarten teachers and staff while registering their children for kindergarten. Students who have attended private kindergarten or kindergarten in another district are also welcome to attend Round-Up to register for first grade.
During the event, hearing, speech and vision will be checked along with a basic assessment administered by one of our certified professionals. This tool will provide information about your child's development. No student will be denied access to kindergarten due to assessment results.
Children must be five years of age on or before the first day of school for entry into kindergarten.
