Course Overrides

If a parent would like to override a course recommendation, then please have them fill out the Course Override Form. You must complete the steps below to make the necessary changes. These steps must be taken before you print the Request Summary of courses in the Student Portal.

    • Log into the Campus Walk-In Scheduler using the ID: clarke and password: Central2017 (please keep this information confidential)

    • Click on Search and type the student's name. To make sure that only one student is visible in the results column, you must type enough of the name to be unique. If they have a common name, then you can click advanced search and look them up by their CCSD ID number (lunch number).

    • Click on the student's name and then click on the Schedule tab

    • Click on the "Walk-in Scheduler" link

    • Find the Required Course that needs changing and delete the course number. Enter the new course number and change the R to E using the Type drop-down menu.

    • Click "Save Reqs"

    • Quickly read through the list to make sure that your changes were saved. If you mis-typed a course number, you won't get a warning, the course name will just not be included in the list.

    • Once you are sure that your changes are completed, please logout from this Campus Account and return back to the Student Portal in order to continue with the registration process.

    • Save the signed Course Override Form and turn into your counselor at the end of registration. These forms will be delivered to Summer Smith at CCHS.
