Tuesday 2/19: Introduce Polar Coordinates in Task 11.1.1. Give each student some polar graph paper. Assign 11.1.1 Problems. 11-1 to 11-11 and 11-17- Due Thursday
Wednesday 2/20: ACT Day. Meet in Room 244. Work on 11.1.1 Assignment
Thursday 2/21: Go over HW. Begin 11.1.2- graphing polar functions on the calculator.
HW: Section 11.1.2- 11-19 to 11-24
Friday 2/22: Go over HW. Discuss 11-23 and derive the polar to rectangular and rectangular to polar formulas in 11.1.3. Show how to convert points and equations. Do 11-34 and 11-35 together.
HW: Section 11.1.3: 11-36 to 11-46 (Due on Tuesday)
Monday 2/25: Give students review worksheet on Polars- collect at end of the period
Tuesday 2/26: Pass back Unit 8 Test and go over. Go over HW. Review Conversion formulas. Checkpoint on Polars. Give back Polar Worksheet

Wednesday 3/6: Go over HW. Begin 11.2.2 showing how to multiply and divide complex numbers in polar form.
