Monday 11/25: Begin Section 6.1: Rectangular Appoximation Methods for Area under a curve (LRAM, RRAM, MRAM)
Tuesday 11/26: Complete 6.1: 5, 6, 10 (use 4 partitions). Go over Optimization and Related Rate Quiz
Monday 12/2: More 6.1: RAM Word Problems in class. 16, 17, 18, 23, 24, 28
Tuesday 12/3:: Go over HW. Begin Section 6.5: Trapezoidal and Simpson's Approximations. Have students complete note guide with the book and go over.

Wednesday 12/4: Go over HW. Do a 6.1 and 6.5 review to practice for the quiz. The review and solutions are posted online. Intro to Section 6.2

Friday 12/6: Section 6.2: Go over how to find Definite Integrals with Geometry and on the Calculator. Go over the Limit Definition of Definite Integrals (example posted online). Work on 6.2 Assignment.
HW: Section 6.2: 1-6, 8-12 even, 13-28 (Be sure to provide a sketch), 33-40 (Use your calculator), 47-50 (think- you do not need a calculator),
DO ONLY WHAT YOU NEED TO FEEL COMFORTABLE BUT DO SOME FROM EACH SECTION AND NOT JUST THE EASY ONES!!
Monday 12/9: Go over HW. Read 6.3 P. 289 (Definite Integral Properties) and do Section 6.3: 1-6 Introduce the concept of the antiderivative and why we want to know it (evaluating Definite Integrals with the Fundamental Theorem of Calculus).
HW: Definite Integrals Worksheet: Do Part 1 and Part 2- just find the antiderivative. NO EVALUATION
Tuesday 12/10: Go over HW. Review Notation for evaluating definite integrals with the Fundamental Theorem of Calculus Part 2.

Wednesday 12/11: Go over HW. Do Part 3 of Worksheet on separate sheet and turn in for feedback.
Thursday 12/12: Discuss Average Value of a function in 6.3 and how to calculate it 3 ways. Discuss writin.g integral plans for Net Area and Total Area.
