Meet in energy groups and review what you learned about your topic
Time to work with your group to create a poster to explain your energy topic
Use these instructions to help you know what you should put on your poster
The posters are due the NEXT CLASS so they need to be completed today

Tue/Wed (Apr 9/10)
Groups can have the first 10 minutes to practice using their poster to explain the main concepts
HALF of each group should stay with their poster and use it to help explain their energy topic while the other half of the group walks around and visits the other groups. (15 or 20 minutes)
Group members switch so everyone gets a chance to present and visit the other posters (15 or 20 minutes)
While walking around, students should use THIS Graphic organizer to take notes on each of the energy topics
Take a 5 minute break
Use your graphic organizer to write about which two fuels you get most excited about and why (10 min)

In your notes, write down all the words or concepts that you do not understand well (There should be about 9 if you are honest)
2 - Read module 46 and fill out the graphic organizer (pollutant table) as you go along
Spend a little time going over the pollutants in the graphic organizer to try to remember the important information

HERE is a graphic organizer to help test your knowledge about ozone. Fill it out without using notes to test your knowledge about ozone AFTER you have learned the material. Pay attention the the column headings. As you move to the right, your answers should include more detail. Do this more than once!

Pollution control poster - Each student should be assigned a number between 1 and 8. Look up your topic on this handout
You will turn in a picture of your poster HERE (find the instructions and an example here too)

Keep-up #9 on Air pollution (Due on Thu/Fri)
Finish your pollution control diagrams. Submit a photo of your poster HERE but bring it to class too!
Tue/Wed (Apr 23 - 24)
Create groups of 8
Take turns teaching each other about the various pollution control measures using your poster
Focus on WHAT POLLUTANT is removed and the basics of HOW
Use THIS graphic organizer to take notes (or make a similar table in your notebook)
When finished, turn in your poster to the bin (although you were supposed to upload a picture as well)Spend some time to study using our graphic organizers
