The teams were made by the next members:

Vălenii de Munte team: 2 teachers and 8 students
Spanish team: 2 teachers 12 students and 2 family representatives.
The groups arrived along Sunday. Kostkovo group travel by train to Świeradów-Zdrój. Romanian and Spanish group traveled toguether from Prague and they arrived to "Samorządowy Zespół Szkół w Kostkowie” School. Here the rest of students could meet their hosted families. After that, everyone went home to have dinner and some rest.
➫ Monday 3rd February The day began with the official opening of the meeting by the coordinator (Monika) and the director of the "Miejski Zespół Szkół w Świeradowie-Zdroju" School. After this act, it was time for dynamics and activities to break the ice and strengthen ties between the participating students.
After lunch we made a beautiful route around the town of Świeradów-Zdrój through which we got to know some of the places linked to the legends of the area. This route ended at Stacja Kultury, a place where the visiting groups were able to learn more about the town and where we were spectators of dramatizations through which we were able to learn about the legends of the area. We must value the participation and involvement of the educational community as a whole for the development of this activity.
At the end, the families organized themselves and many students made joint evenings while others spent the evening getting to know this beautiful town more before going to rest as we still had many activities ahead of us.
➫ Tuesday 4th February : The day began with two interesting workshops. In these, the students learned to make soaps and candles with ecological products. At the same time, the delegation of teachers went to the town hall where we had a meeting with the mayor in which he spoke to us about the population and became interested in the project and the various schools that participated in it.
After the meeting, students and teachers went to Czarci Młyn and Izerska Łąka, a place where we held a culinary workshop in which students learned how to make bread, learned about the operation of a traditional mill and oven, and visited an interpretation center of the fauna, flora and skies of the area.
It was time to enjoy a traditional meal of grilled sausages and some of the breads made by the students. This tasty meal suited us very well because we had a beautiful (and hard) route ahead of us. The route took us through the beautiful snow-capped mountains to the top (Czerniawska Kopa), a place that appears in some of the legends of the area and where they have built a great viewpoint. On the way back there was time for photos, laughter and the occasional snowball that helped to further strengthen ties and relationships between the students.
When we got to the town it was time for a brief farewell, because the next day it was time to get up early to make an interesting route through three countries (Poland, Czech Republic and Germany).
➫ Wednesday 5th February : This day we were going to dedicate it entirely to a trip to different places and towns with the incentive of being in three countries in the same day.
We continue the route to the town of Mirsk where we visit and enjoy the spectacular views from its panoramic viewpoint. The first stop of the trip took place at the Krobica Geopark. In it we were able to visit an old mine and learn about the harsh working conditions of the miners.
We continue the trip until we reach the towns of Zgorzelec (Poland) and Goerlitz (Germany). They are two "united" cities,
separated by the border of the countries marked by the Neisse river. We stopped in Zgorzelec, to visit a World War II military cemetery (Cmentarz Żołnierzy II Armii WP).
In it, students representing the various schools left a memory in honor of the fallen.
After that, we went to Goerlitz, where we visited its museum, where the students were able to learn about events and situations that were experienced in this town throughout the 20th century.
We also had time to walk through its streets and get to know part of its heritage, its cuisine and of course, there were moments to buy the odd souvenir. Finally, we started the journey back to Świeradów-Zdrój.
➫ Thursday 6th February : On Thursday the accumulated fatigue and that feeling in which you appreciate that you have passed the halfway point of your experience was appreciated. On the other hand, you observe how the union between the students of the different schools is increasing.
With this situation, we started the day with a brief workshop at the school, and then started the route from the base of the ski cable. We took one of the cabins that took us to the top of the slopes. There, we started a route that took us to the top. on the way back we visited a mountain refuge and descended.
We ate at school and it was time for new workshops, competitions and some dynamics that students and teachers alike enjoyed. After these activities, the group was divided between those who wanted to practice skiing and those who preferred to spend this time in board games or other sports activities. We also had time for a short disco and dance session.
After a hard and intense day we said goodbye knowing that we were nearing the end of this experience.
➫ Friday 7th February :And the last day of the meeting arrived. Difficult day for all of us who participated because we were aware that this great experience was coming to the end.
However, the morning was full of activities. Thus, the students began with active methods in foreign languages learning (inspired by the idea of Dialogic Learning method). Simultaneously, a meeting took place between the coordinators of the different schools in which we carried out an evaluation of the meeting, we analyzed the activities carried out and we shared the progress of the project in each school. There was also time to make proposals by the Spanish coordinator in order to finalize the organizational aspects of the next meeting.
The morning continued with various dynamics and games until lunchtime. After lunch, the closing ceremony of the meeting took place. Emotional moment for all and of recognition to our colleague Monika, for her work as
coordinator of the meeting .... All this was accompanied by the occasional tear and hugs.
Kostkowo's group left that same afternoon as they had a long train journey throughout the night, while the Spanish and Romanian groups extended their stay until the next morning to march towards Prague.
We would like to conclude this section by highlighting our gratitude to all the people who have made the meeting possible (teachers, school staff, students, of course the families and other people involved). It has been a beautiful experience for all of us that has marked us as adults and will help our students grow. Congratulations!
