Element Leaders

4.4.3.  The Element Leaders will: 

• Report directly to the respective Assistant Flight Sergeant

• Serve as the Assistant Flight Sergeant in their absence as directed by the Flight Sergeant

• Execute the following tasks as assigned:

  • Academic Element Leader:

    • Record cadets’ weekly grade status using the tracker and report results to the Flight Sergeant and Academic and Tutoring Coordinator

    • Identify cadets needing additional academic support and report to the Flight Sergeant and Academic and Tutoring Coordinator

  • Logistics Element Leader:

    • Issue uniform items, including ranks, badges, and ribbons, to assigned cadets as directed by the Logistics NCO

    • Inform the Logistics NCO of any/all needed uniform items (e.g., missing cover, new ribbon rack)

  • PT Element Leader:

    • Record cadets’ weekly PT status using the tracker and report results to the Flight Sergeant and Group Senior Enlisted Leader

    • Lead flight in weekly PT activities as directed by the Group Senior Enlisted Leader
