The 4th, 6th and 7th graders were introduced to their new computer lab today! The 7th graders got right to work...
Needless to say, there was a flurry of excitement and awe throughout the day. When I mentioned to the teachers yesterday that the lab was ready and we could arrange training any time, I was a bit surprised at the quick responses that came back - many wanting to do it the very next day! I can't blame them for not wanting to wait to get their hands on these sleek new computers - I couldn't wait either! Reservations are already being made for lab use over the next couple of weeks before NWEA MAP testing takes over. 5th grade will be introduced to the lab next Tuesday, and 8th grade will be arranged soon as well. Our teachers are nothing short of spectacular... many have never touched a Mac but still couldn't wait to get started. How fun is my job?! I'm so lucky!!
Many thanks go to the donors to the Legacy Grant and the support of the Archdiocese who have made this leap in technology possible for Blessed Trinity. There is much knowledge and creativity on the horizon for all of our students!
