Big Fish Viewing & Discussion

Part 1

1. As a class, brainstorm what we should be looking and listening for in the film to help with answering the CRT prompts. Record this in the first section of the Big Fish Notes.
2. View and take notes in the relevant sections using your Big Fish Notes. Group 1 members should sit in the front two/three rows.
3. Group 1 will participate in a Spider Web Discussion (turn to face each other) and Group 2 will listen to the discussion. All students can and should take notes in the Big Fish Notes during the discussion as well.
4. Those who participated in the Spider Web Discussion will also fill out the rubric for round 1 (blue).

Part 2

1. View and take notes in the relevant sections using your Big Fish Notes. Group 2 members should sit in the front two/three rows.
2. Group 2 will participate in a Spider Web Discussion (turn to face each other) and Group 1 will listen to the discussion. All students can and should take notes in the Big Fish Notes during the discussion as well.
3. Those who participated in the Spider Web Discussion will also fill out the rubric for round 1 (blue).
