2. Initiate, implement, document, evaluate, and update/resolve a nursing care plan
3. Work effectively with the health care team to communicate about nursing care planning
4. Discuss the use of material and human resources to assure effective, comprehensive nursing care planning
5. Discuss ethical principles and legal guidelines for nursing care planning
6. Discuss establishing priority nursing diagnoses at the beginning of the shift as a means of focusing your nursing care
