Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church is proud to offer a challenging Greek language program for teens and adults. We offer four levels (Beginner, Elementary, Intermediate, and Advanced) to accommodate one's knowledge of the language.

Session is 10 weeks

Autumn Classes
The Elementary, Intermediate and Advanced levels will resume in the Fall.
Each class is 1 hour long.
No classes for Thanksgiving Week
Class Descriptions:
Beginner - Offered to students who do not have any prior knowledge of the Greek language including reading, writing or any grammatical/syntactical skills. This class is a prerequisite for all the other classes.
Elementary - Students are required to know how to read and write and have some elementary knowledge of grammar and syntax. The concentration in this class is on vocabulary (every day situational vocabulary).
Intermediate - The students in this class will concentrate on conversation. By reading more advanced cultural and literary passages, they enrich their vocabulary using the grammar and syntax rules and learn to speak the language correctly.
Advanced - Students in this class will read advanced material to improve reading skills and vocabulary.
