Welcome to CS

The aim of the curriculum is to ensure you can understand and apply the fundamental principles and concepts of computer science, including abstraction, logic, algorithms and data representation. You should be able to analyse problems in computational terms and have repeated practical experience of writing computer programs in order to solve such problems. The aim of the department is to make you a responsible, competent, confident and creative user of technology.
