Happy Monday, Scholars! Your assignment for week 3 of Quarter 4 - Persuasive Techniques!

Hello, Scholars! This is our 3rd assignment for Quarter 4! Be sure you are completing your assignments each week.

This week, we are laying some groundwork for the argumentative essay / speech / photo essay that we will be preparing for and completing over the next 3 weeks -- one week at a time!

Your focus for this week will be on learning about persuasion and argument in language and writing and using and identifying persuasive techniques.

1) Review PowerPoints on "Introducing to Persuasion and Argument" and "Argument and Persuasive Strategies"

2) Learn vocabulary for the academic argument

3) Learn and use 20 types of Persuasive Techniques

4) Complete 3 exercises >> #1 and #2 will be reviewing and using persuasive techniques and #3 will be Analyzing an Advertisement.
