Happy Thursday, B-Day Scholars!! I hope you are well . . . I miss seeing you!
Today, we will develop our norms for our National Poetry Month Activities! So you have 2 assignments for poetry.
Your task is largely to read your Announcement carefully and then read all directions carefully when you get to the assignments so you can set up for your April poetry activities!
I hope you use our daily poetry activities to nurture your creative side -- that you submit thoughtful, authentic, and thorough activities -- that you STRETCH!
No matter how you feel about your creative self, I want you to throw away any negative thoughts about poetry or your loving poetry or your creating poetry and playing with the wonderful world of words!!! I so want you to appreciate the beauty, power, and value of words and how they can be used to convey experience and emotion. I want you to STRETCH!!!
I have also added some updates for your ONLINE JOURNAL and sharing your link with me, as well as grading information -- some of you need to revise or make up!
