STOP THE TRAFFIK exists to end the buying and selling of people. We demand a Traffik-Free world. We prevent human trafficking by:
Taking local action – People are trafficked from a community and into a community. Therefore the community must work together to prevent it.
Building a global movement – Around the world people from all sectors of society unite to take action – locally, nationally and internationally.
Campaigning for change – Stop the Traffik equips people to understand what trafficking is, how it affects them and what they can do about it through global campaigns.
The power of STOP THE TRAFFIK is in the thousands of activists around the globe who give their time and energy to fight human trafficking by creating change and awareness in their community and beyond. Individuals, communities, organisations, clubs, faith groups, businesses, schools and charities are all part of Stop the Traffik.
Although its headquarters is based in the UK, Stop the Traffik also works in India, Australia and Iceland.
