WHAT YOU CAN DO

As an educator, you have tremendous potential to teach and influence hundreds, if not thousands, of young lives to become activists speaking out against modern-day slavery, and who they themselves, may be at risk of human trafficking. Learn how to become an activist and teach your students to do the same! Below are helpful lesson plans and resources to educate the future generation in your classroom.

START FREEDOM (Stop the Traffik)

If you work with young people, whether you're a teacher, youth worker, community or faith leader, or if you are between 12 and 18 years old and passionate about doing something to prevent the buying and selling of people, then Start Freedom is for you.

Start Freedom is a global anti-trafficking campaign for young people to:

  • Learn what human trafficking is

  • How it affects their life and the lives of others

  • What they can do to combat it
