This is our 42 staff, we support you with everything relating to life at 42 Adelaide: your experience, technology, internships, student support and career guidance.
There is a dedicated Discord server for 42 school.
This is where you can chat with other students to ask for help. (You can also use it to message an evaluator that is late! Or organize to order food! or send memes!). You can also reach the Bocal (staff) too.
This is your opportunity to learn from others and to give and receive feedback on code and ideas. Each DEFENCE must happen in person which also allows you to get to know your fellow students. It is important for you to schedule for the peer evaluations so you will have enough evaluation points to validate your projects.
A graphical interface (found in the Intra) that identifies the relationships of projects to levels.
THE NORM is the 42 coding standards you must apply on all of the code you develop.
"Norminette"
It allows you to check whether your code has met the standard coding practice norms set by the 42 Network. Norminette is only used for C projects and not the Shell programs.
You should always run the Norminette before submission and evaluation and it will help you learn
During the evaluation process, the evaluator will check the Norminette first. If your codes do not pass the Norminette, your evaluation will automatically fail.
"Moulinette"
It will be used to evaluate your project after submission. Be careful, the Moulinette is very particular about your code....
