GAS METAL ARC WELDING (Semester 1) - Grades 9-12

This program prepares individuals to apply technical knowledge and skills to join or cut metal surfaces. Includes instruction in arc welding, resistance welding, brazing and soldering, cutting, high-energy beam welding and cutting, solid state welding, ferrous and non-ferrous materials, oxidation reduction reactions, welding metallurgy, welding processes and heat treating, structural design, safety, and applicable codes and standards

SHIELDED METAL ARC WELDING (Semester 2) - Grades 9-12

A program that prepares individuals to apply technical knowledge and skills to join or cut metal surfaces. Includes instruction in arc welding, resistance welding, brazing and soldering, cutting, high-energy beam welding and cutting, solid state welding, ferrous and non-ferrous materials, oxidation-reduction reactions, welding metallurgy, welding processes and heat treating, structural design, safety, and applicable codes and standards.

WELDING LAB (Semester 1 & 2) - Grades 9-12

This class serves as an extension of the skills and concepts learned in the previous courses within its pathway. The lab helps to develop these skills and concepts in simulated real-world environments.

ADVANCED SHIELDED METAL ARC WELDING (Semester 2) - Grades 10-12

This course prepares individuals to apply technical knowledge and skills to join or cut metal surfaces. Includes instruction in arc welding, resistance welding, brazing and soldering, cutting, high-energy beam welding and cutting, solid state welding, ferrous and non-ferrous materials, oxidation-reduction reactions, welding metallurgy, welding processes and heat treating, structural design, safety, and applicable codes and standards.

CAREER PRACTICUM - T&I: TRANSPORTATION, DISTRIBUTION, AND LOGISTICS (Semesters 1 & 2) - Grades 11-12  

Career Practicum is a paid or unpaid experience designed to assist students in grades 11 - 12 in their specific CTE program of study. A student must be at least 16 years of age. The student must have completed at least Level 1 and Level 2 courses in a chosen CTE program of study to be eligible for this course, and the job duties must align to this program of study.
