Three more businesses sports fans can put up

As Tyler Tysdal always says, sports is big business. As such, it would do sports fans with entrepreneurial minds good to capitalize on sports. But the common misconception about sports is that one either has to be an athlete or an agent to make a killing at it. This isn’t true.

Tyler Tysdal shares three more business ideas for sports fans.

Tours

A number of franchises and organizations allow visitors to tour their cities and stadiums. Being a tour guide for groups at a time makes for great business. Tours also allow fans to keep themselves close to their favorite stars and updated on all the team’s progress. For this business to work though, owners will need either a van or a small bus, and they’ll also need to be on the inside track of tickets and group discounts.

Sports bar

Sometimes, sports bars are even more fun to be in when watching a live game of the town’s favorite team. Make no mistake about it, a sports-themed establishment in a community that worships its sports teams has a lot of potential. Plus, it can also double as a store for selling team merchandise.

Weekend sports

Working closely with the local parks and recreation office of the community, people can organize weekend tournaments. While obviously a side-job, weekend sporting events have the potential to get bigger, especially during the summer months when children are on vacation from school, Tyler Tysdal explains. And this can attract a lot of sponsors as well, he adds.

Community games organizer

Another rewarding small business idea is putting together a team that organizes community games. What’s great about this is that these games can be for people of all ages, and they can also bring a community closer together.
