Professional sports in the U.S. has become more popular than ever with the industry raking in billions yearly. From endorsements to merchandise, from ticket sales to network deals, pro sports in the U.S. is big money.

In line with that, Tyler Tysdal shares a list of some of the highest-paid NBA superstars today. As an added, these figures include not just their salaries, but also added income from other sources such as endorsements and deals.

LeBron James

Love him or hate him, James is the highest-paid player in the NBA today. His net income for the year lands to about $88.7 million. The Los Angeles Lakers pay him around $35.7 million in salary and bonuses, while he receives $53 million in endorsements and other deals. And while his maiden season with the Lakers left a lot to be desired, James is still the King, at least as far as money is concerned.

Steph Curry

The Golden State Warrior’s dead-eye shooting leader, Steph Curry is second to LeBron James in terms of net income with $79.5 million. Along with being a phenomenal talent on the court, Curry’s family-friendly demeanor makes him extremely marketable. He makes $37.5 million from salary and bonuses and $42 million in endorsements and deals.

Kevin Durant

Coming in third with a net income of $65 million is one of the greatest offensive threats in the game today, Kevin Durant. His move to New Jersey promises to bump up his income even further in the next few years.
