Design Step 2

Evidence of Work

Defining the Problem
Classification Scheme including 3 possible designs

In this part of the project, had to begin creating possible designs after determining some characteristics in our classification scheme. Our classification scheme consisted of a series of features along the top and the side. Then, we had to narrow it down to just three possible designs, and solidify them by sketching them. Of course, now we have eliminated two of those designs and are now on to our final design. After these steps, we are ready to prototype.

Reflection

This phase of our capstone project was, again, drawn out, but we persevered and pulled through. Throughout this stage, we demonstrated our Communication skills, as one of us had to turn each assignment in for the rest of the group, but sometimes, said assignment would be marked missing. We communicated with each other to resolve such discrepancies. Also, the Fusion 360 tutorials had us using our Critical Thinking skills to adapt outdated videos to the latest version of Fusion.

However, that is not to say that everything went perfectly. Firstly, certain situations really strain our Character, making it difficult to remain professional. Second, the lack of time management and poor Conscientious Learner skills remains a constant theme with our group.
