Earth Day 2011 is held under the slogan "Billion Acts of Green" in order to inspire people from around the world to take part in protecting the ecosystem we call our home. International Mother Earth Day is a day that is intended to inspire awareness and appreciation for the Earth's natural environment. In over 180 countries the International Mother Earth Day is celebrated through various manifestations and actions, thus raising ecological awareness and hopefully providing a better future for humankind and its environment.
