Children's spring festival

ZFPA is organizing children's festival "Children give to the forest - With nature against violence", which will be held on March 21st, on first day of spring and World day of Forestry. Site of festival is located on the very top of Zvezdara forest, near Astronomical opservatory (where it will be held in case of bad weather). Festival starts at noon.It is our goal that we make possible for the children to establish a close connection with nature, which will help them to become valuable members of society. With a help of nature we wish to keep the children from ever increasing violence, to encourage them to spend time outside and enjoy in activities together with their parents and friends, to develop creativity and ecological awareness.It is our wish that children of today become ecologiclly aware members of society tommorrow. Pupils of elementary schools will give the forest their poems and essays; songs, music and dance; drawings, figurines and other artwork.Festival is not competition - each and every participant is a winner!This festival is created in accordance with UNICEF programme "School without violence" .
