Masked Duck - Ft. Bend Co., March 27, 1996. At least eight were at Brazos Bend State Park, Fort Bend, 12 November 1995 to late April 1996, TBRC# 1996-34, TPRF 1466.

Masked Duck - Colorado Co., September 5, 1994. Up to twenty-four birds (14 adults and 10 young), some photographed, were at Attwater NWR, Colorado from 29 July - 4 December 1994 furnishing a first nesting record for the refuge; 1994-143, TPRF #1302).
