Rose-throated Becard - Jeff Davis Co., July 18, 1973. (DMNH #6231) (Runnels, 1973). This specimen, harvested in Jeff Davis County, has been identified as the Northwestern Mexico subspecies, Pachyramphus aglaiae albiventris. All other Texas records, appear to be the P. a. gravis subspecies generally found in the Rio Grande Valley. This specimen is the only documented record of this subspecies.
