Resources:
Students are instructed in the practice of fair use, licenses and copyrights. There are videos and links for them to reference and activities for them to demonstrate their understanding.
Modeling:
They are asked to create a folder to store their media that they have copied, modeling fair use practices in doing so.
Making this a habit raises their awareness and I've found that it increases their understanding of plagiarism and the harm therein.
