2012 Spring Meeting
The 17th Annual Spring Meeting of the
North Carolina Section of the
The 17th Annual Spring Meeting of the NCS-AAPT will be held March 30-31, 2012 at Catawba Valley Community College.
All events will take place in the Cuylar A. Dunbar (CAD) Building, the tallest building on CVCC's campus. A hospitality room with refreshments will be in CAD 425. A Friday afternoon (tentatively 5:00) executive meeting will be held in CAD 429. Friday evening dinner and Saturday lunch will be in CAD 444. Invited and contributed talks will be in CAD 582, and posters will be in CAD 345. Food will be catered by Jason's Deli of Hickory.
Featured speakers for the meeting will be Dr. James Kneller (NCSU) speaking on neutrinos and Dr. Gordon Aubrecht (Ohio State University, Marion Campus) speaking on aspects of physics pedagogy.
