Digital Portfolio Project

Digital Portfolio Project

Create a Digital Portfolio using a blog, website, or wiki. Your Digital Portfolio must include fifteen of your original photos.

All photos for this project must be new photos and must be taken with a digital camera that has manual aperture and shutter speed settings. Any photos of youth under 18 must be accompanied by a completed consent form that will be added to your portfolio as an attachment.

Each photo of your portfolio must include comments discussing the aperture, shutter speed, lighting, and arrangement of the subject. Also, be sure to include comments on the photographer’s intentions for each photo. Your photos must include, but are not limited to, one photo each of the following categories:

· Portrait

· Product shot (single product photographed for an advertisement)

· Animal

· Insect

· Architecture

· Candid (in a candid shot the subject either does not know the photo is being taken or continues doing what he/she is doing without regard to the camera)

· Food

· Plants

· Fashion

· Photoshopped artistic creations

You are encouraged to touch up your photos as necessary. You may use any effect you want to create the desired effect for each of your photos.

Each photo of your portfolio is worth 100 points.

Photos not posted to a blog, website, or wiki will not be scored. Photos without all of the proper comments will not be scored. Photos taken with automatic settings will not be scored.
