A weed cannot call itself a flower.

Or can it?

You are what you do;

Not what you say you are;

Not what you have done.

Thus a root which sprouts forth potatoes

Cannot call itself corn.

Thus evil is evil;

No matter how much it masquerades as good.

For even the devil can wear the mask of an angel.

A politician will always be a politician;

A wolf will always be a wolf.

Neither the politician can tell the truth;

Nor can the wolf become a lamb.

We are what we do;

Not what we say.

You say what you want to be,

But you thunder what you are.
