Dr. Small with Angela Davis

Bert Small with Angela Davis, in Oakland celebrating the release of Geronimo Pratt from prison after serving 27 years of an unjust sentence. Dr. Small met Davis while she was incarcerated in the Marin County Jail. From 1971-1974, he ran the George Jackson Free Clinic two nights and one morning each week. During that time he visited Angela twice a week at the Marin County facility, then once a week when she was transferred to the Santa Clara County Jail. She was Dr. Small's patient for over 30 years.
