Lestes macrostigma

Recorded in four 10km squares to the end of 2015.

Until recently this species could be reliably found only in a restricted access area at Fuente de Piedra. I believe there is now access to the location but I haven't yet visited.

In May 2015 I found a new breeding location but sampling the location in early 2016 found no larvae and no adults were seen in 2016 and 2017. So were did they come from?

In May 2018 there were c.200 individuals at the channel next to the Campo de Golf in Málaga. Theye were also found in good numbers at the Lagunas de Campillos.
