Tap Zoo Cross-Breed

Want to know which animals in the iPhone game Tap Zoo can be cross-bred with coins only from coins only species? Stay tuned to this page as the cross-breeding combination's are charted. Some might call it a cheat page for Tap Zoo but its more for harried parents who don't want surprises (like an unexpected bill for stars). I use the game to teach planning and budgeting with no intention to buy stars. You may also be interested to know that Tap Zoo has fourth highest revenue for iPhone apps even though it is free - really a freemium application. Selling stars no doubt! * Stars from downloading free applicationsOur zoo is on the right (as of Level 24). Not shown are recent additions of a sea turtle*, great white*, tiger shark* (cross-breed), armadillo*, moose* (cross breed), porcupine ...The design of the zoo is based on "traps" - look for the small (single) entrance to the various areas of the park: ocean/arctic, forest, grasslands, and jungle. The rangers and guests get "trapped" for awhile as they enter but can't easily find the exit.

January 2011 Update. Blitzen has just become available. We refuse to put Blitzen on our zoo - leave it for Arctic Tap Zoo. Well there is at least one zoo that keeps Christmas reindeers: Cougar Mountain Zoo near Issaquah, Washington.

Earning Stars for Cross-Breeds

Unfortunately there are no free stars. Well technically you can download or buy other games from the company to earn stars. It seems in late December they've added games from other companies as well - some have been quite nice. I'd personally like to see ads or surveys that one could take to earn stars in addition to downloading games. I don't know much about iPhone/iPad and would like to see what products exist. The company would get some revenue and I'd take the tradeoff of time to earn the stars for free.
