Social Advertising has been around for so many years, but a new idea of it was strongly introduced by the founder of the most famous social networking service “Facebook”. Zuckerberg, founder of Facebook, has been applying social advertising through his social utility to promote health and social issues in order to bring a positive and a good behavior change. (Farlex, 2009)

Facebook is now paving the way for different add types where Ad agencies are evaluating and giving their feedback on what they find an effective Facebook ad campaign. Facebook is not just a way of stating impressions, or clicks exchanged between friends, but more of a social advertisement that is more concerned about the user and less about what the advertiser wants to say.

Zuckerberg. “Social actions are powerful because they act as trusted referrals and reinforce the fact that people influence people,” said Zuckerberg. “It’s no longer just about messages that are broadcast out by companies, but increasingly about information that is shared between friends. So we set out to use these social actions to build a new kind of ad system. (Admin,2011)

“Internet marketing trends indicate that social marketing is a MUST for every business. All successful marketing strategies now include social advertising.” (Majon, 2011)

Sites such as Facebook in addition to twitter and YouTube have become a social marketing norm for everyone no matter what continent he/she lives in. These Social networking systems connect people all over the world in a matter of seconds. Such networks form social groups that anyone can join and participate in. Users in social communities are growing rapidly in large numbers and they are highly motivated to explore and learn newly advanced technology systems. These participants are extremely adventurous to business, so whoever wants to advertise his business, these social networks are the best way to do it. If you join and expose your products and services through these webs, social marketing will provide you with leverage, strong advertising campaigns, and will expand the awareness of what you’re selling exponentially. TwitterSMS of the internet” was 1st founded in March 2006 by Jack Dorsey. Twitter is estimated to have over 200 million users, generating around 65 million tweets a day, and exceeding 800,000 search queries each day. Twitter is web preserved and operated via Twitter Inc., which offers a shared networking and micro-blogging service, permitting its users to send and recite posts called tweets. Twitter messages, as known as Tweets, are text messages where one can post up to 140 characters on the user’s profile home page while interacting with friends. Twitter is also used for advertising, and it is not necessary for the Ad to be good in order to be posted, anyone can advertise anything on Twitter. It’s appalling how people can get so creative in advertising for such silly things, but they always tend to succeed. Many creative ideas started off on twitter and YouTube and ended on the shelves of our Super-markets. Business, despite their size, should never underestimate these Social Networking services; they should always be updated with the new social advertising on those Websites so they don’t fall behind with their business.

“YouTube is one of the most well-known and widely discussed sites of participatory media in the contemporary online environment, and it is the first genuinely mass-popular platform for user-created video.” (Green, 2009)

To go deeper into YouTube, YouTube is a site where you can upload your videos and share them with people and friends from all over the world. The YouTube service 1st started an independent website in the year 2005 and was initiated by Google in the year 2006. As we all know, YouTube’s famous slogan “Broadcast Yourself”, describes the website and the Website’s primarily purpose which is to invite people to publish videos that they have created at home, with friends...Etc. YouTube is another server that can be used for business promotions where businesses upload videos advertising for their products. Through YouTube they can interact with their customers in order to be aware of their customer’s opinions and feedback on their selling’s. Such business people can interact with people from all over the world through the comments people post under their videos, the amount of likes and dislikes people click on each video. All these are good indications for business and how well the business is going. As mentioned before, YouTube videos are available all over the world to many types of different backgrounds. Therefore, you can find a variety of wide ranges of videos available on YouTube. “Since Google offers revenue sharing for advertisement clicks generated on video pages, some users have been able to turn YouTube into a profitable enterprise.” (YouTube, 2009)

Not to forget the famous social Networking service “MySpace” which is said to be the fastest growing website on the internet. My space is now worth $580 million, and estimated to be used by nearly 55% of the American population. “MySpace is where (mostly) youth ‘learn’ to increase their social and Communicative skills by building online partisanships in an open-ended process of becoming. “(Coté, 2007)

Nowadays, people face many difficulties to end up with a single good deal. That’s why, in July 2010 in Dubai, a part of the Jabbar Internet Group launched, Cobone. It features a daily-specified market deal on the best things to do, see, eat and buy in each and every city across the Middle East. Cobone is an easy and entertaining way to get wonderful deals on a huge range of experiences in your city. Paul Kenny, an Irish entrepreneur, created the company, where he made online shopping easy. When you see an unbeatable offer, you take a step in making it happen. The genius way that Paul found in order to motivate members buying items online is "racing with time". The site displays a count-down clock showing the availability of items with respect to its price. For example, if you want to buy a jeans for 100$, it is found on the site for 50$ for a certain period of time, then the price increases linearly till it reaches 100$ again at the end of that period of time.

They only offer deals on great experiences and products that we would love to try ourselves. So we know we're getting a secure and unique experience each time a Cobone deal goes on. (Meddah, 2010)
