How does technology effect your life?

Create a document of you with your favorite technology from the past and present. Then include the technology you will have in the near future.

Describe how this technology effects your life in a positive and/or negative way.

Select the same or similar item. For example:

Music Players

  • Past - Walkman
  • Present - iPod Classic
  • Future - iPod Touch

Past -

  • Describe how you used the item.
  • What you liked about it.

Present -

  • Describe how you use the item.
  • What you like about it.
  • How it is an improvement from your past gadget.

Future -

  • Describe how you will use the item.
  • Why you want it.
  • How it will be better than your current gadget.

You can create this project using any program that includes images and text. (such as: Word, PowerPoint, Pages, KeyNote, etc.)

Images

Include an image of each technology, preferably an image of yourself interacting with the technology.

Use photo-booth, a digital camera or your camera phone.

Text

Include the name of the technology and a brief description of how and why you like it.

Publish Comic Life project

  • Export Comic Life to iPhoto
  • Export from iPhoto to Picasa Web Albums
    • Make a public album
  • Add album as a slide show gadget to your blog
  • Complete Evaluation

Evaluate your project today(200 points). Title your post Comic Life Evaluation. Write a three paragraph evaluation that answers all the questions below about your project.

    • My Project was checked with the Comic Life Project Rubric
    • What I created to finish the assignment is appropriate for what I was supposed do
    • Credit is given to all of my sources, written in the way my teacher requested
    • My work is neat
    • My work is complete and includes heading information (name, date, etc.)
  • How does your project inform others?
  • Was the information used appropriately?
  • Does the product satisfy the requirements as originally defined?
  • What set of criteria can you use to make judgments?
  • What can you do to make my project better?
  • Did you do your best or could you have done better?
