- You are to write a story to inform children, tweens, and/or teens of the dangers they face online.
- Consider how the fairy tale “Little Red Riding Hood” is a warning to children against dangerous adult strangers. (A full version of the story can be found here).
- How does the story of “Little Red Riding Hood” relate to the use of the Internet?
- Write your own version of Little Red Riding Hood or Online Predator/Cyber Bullying Story.
- In your version some if not all of the story takes place online.
- The wolf could be an online predator or cyber bully.
- Little Red Riding Hood might be a newbie.
- Grandma might be a trusted adult or friend.
- Think of Sheyna's Situation.

- Do some research and site your sources. (Use citelighter)
- Include different ways of communication, Twitter, Facebook, Linked in, texting, email, Tumblr, Kik, Snapchat, Vine, Pheed, Instagram, etc.
- Make the characters, from images of yourself, and your classmates. Use Pixlr.com or clippingmagic.com
- Include no more than 5 to 10 slides.
- Include balloons, narration, sound effects and titles.
- Include images from the Internet.
- Include images of yourself, and your classmates.
- Use the alpha tool and edit mask for the images.
- Include shadows and reflections.
- Use a transitions.
- Use a build to animate your text and images.
