The IL Treasurer has a Website showing unclaimed 'property' that they will refund to proper owners. A tedious process, but may be worthwhile in some cases. I get about $110 & Gail about $60.

[ Business Route 20 - BR20 ]
IDOT, District 2 & I are having less than adequate correspondence about their plans to widen the two lane segment in front of my house. They plan a more expensive barrier curb design which is great for hi-traffic, heavily commercial areas, but not at all in rural Boone County. Each end of the project already has a 5 lane, flat bi-directional center turn lane [ that's a mouthful - I call it the FlatFive ], but IDOT refuses that for us. At the same time IDOT is planning a more costly un-needed solution to BR20 in Boone County, Governor Pritzker is hyping bridge improvements for the over 2,000 deficient bridges in IL.
