[ Bob Rollings ]
From 3/23; Ed Jamrog: 'Bob is home. The chemo he is taking is oral. He completed the first series last week end. Donna and I stopped by for lunch Wednesday, he was very weak. The meds are given five days, then three weeks off. I think a phone call to him would be appreciated. From what was said, he will be given three or four treatments before he will be retested.'

[ The age ]
Always something to get in the way of updating DONE. The IL Secretary of State has decided I've reached 'the age' to require a vision & road test every 2 years. License expired mid January. About the time I was planning to go, the SOS closed all their offices because of Covid in December. Oops. They 'extended' getting tests till June 2021. So, finally, decided to go. Early this week, sunny days & mid 70's. Me? Decided to go yesterday. Cold, rainy & windy. Got there about 1/2 hour before they opened. I was 19 in line. Ugh. Standing in rain & wind outside til they opened. Ugh again. Then, they give you a number & tell you to wait outside - in the rain & wind. In any case I got done about 10:30 & passed. Examiner said: 'Great job', so there's that.

Gail got her Pfizers earlier than I could. After 2 weeks, she's fully protected now. I got my 2nd Moderna shot this week & in 2 weeks, we'll both be 'fully' protected. In any case, get scheduled & get your shots ! The articles show that about 1/3rd of folks who get Covid have recurring mental and/or physical after effects for months after their 'recovery'.
