Hi all,
A fantabalous night for our second Crash Test Drama in Sydney on Monday night at Newtown Theatre.
A very high standard of work on stage from actors, writers and directors and a jammed packed audience of over 100 enjoying every minute. At this rate we’ll have to find a bigger theatre!

PLAYWRIGHT’S PIRZE: Jean Kowalik for The Birthday
OVERALL PEOPLE’S CHOICE:
A tie between
The Birthday by Jean Kowalik, directed by Anne Delaney with Tony Girdler, Roanna Dempsey and Helen Atkinson
And
Rupert and the Seven Russian Email Brides, directed by Larry Kelly with Steven McGrath, Albany Dighton, Bianka Demets, Ali Aitken, Georgie Edwards, Heidi Lupprian, Angela Beal, Sally Williams and Amelia Kerr.
This means the two plays that go through to the final of Crash Test Drama in December are The Rose by Charles Freyberg and The Birthday by Jean Kowalik.
