Crash Test 2019 Round Four was another successful night, with every actor who turned up for auditions landing a part.

The first play was “What Was Needed” by Elaine Laforteza with Margaret Fitzgerald as director. It featured an ensemble of Martina Donkers, Sergey Bogolyubov and Jawed Gebrael, who picked up Best Actor.

Second up was “The Experiment” by Sharlene Zeederber. Pete Greenaway directed Issac Owen and Anthony Thomas, who was the recipient for Best Actor Runner Up. “The Experiment” also was awarded Best Play by the judge. We will be seeing them in the Crash Test Drama Finals on the 2 August 2019.

Next up was “Morbid Jealousy”, written by Hasitha Adhikariarachchi. Lorraine Toweel directed Alan Long, David Hodgkins, Andrew Vial and herself in this short play.

The fourth play for the evening was “The Spank Bank”, written and directed by Nick Subjak. This play starred Terry Bourke, Dana Lowe and Bindoo, who took home Best Actress Runner Up.

Fifth for the evening was Isaac Owen’s “Odd”. It was directed by Natalija Karma, who also won Best Director and featured Heather King, who was awarded Best Actress. This play was the Popular Vote winner. We will be seeing them in the Crash Test Finals on 2 August 2019.

Rounding up the night was “NANA”, which was written and directed by Smita Bharti. It featured Joan Rodd, Jaye Alexander, Tara Biggs and Alex Bogolyubov.
