Director Mentoring Program

Are you new to Directing and/or hoping to be involved in future Short & Sweet Festival productions?

Would you appreciate gaining more directing experience, knowledge, insights and generally upgrading your skills as a Director?

Short & Sweet, in conjunction with Crash Test Drama, is offering a program of mentoring by experienced Directors, as well as the possibility of workshops during the year and at the Master Classes. This program is being masterminded by Uma Kali Shakti and Amelia Tranter.

The Director Mentoring Program pairs an experienced theatre director up with an enthusiastic amateur, or with someone whose directing background lies elsewhere (such as film). This gives the Protégée a chance to learn about the world of theatre directing, from casting, to rehearsing, to putting on a show. It's a great chance for experienced directors to impart their knowledge and gain experience as teachers.

If you are interested in being mentored, please send an Expression of Interest email to Crash Test Drama with the word Protégée in the subject line. Include details & information about yourself and if possible attach your Drama/Theatre Resume.

Are you an experienced Director who has been previously involved in Crash Test as well as a number of Short and Sweet Festivals?
