This week we would like to salute a few of this year's Car Show Sponsors!

Because this year's car show will be held on the 50th Anniversary of the First Moon Walk, we have decided to create a display at the event recognizing this accomplishment. To help us make a display that is fun and will not distract from our event, we have partnered with SPACE CAMP!

Part of the U.S. Space and Rocket Center, Space Camp offers 4 Camps for those ages 9 - 18, and entire families. A fictionalize movie named Space Camp was released in 1986 and is still available through the Buffalo & Erie County Library System. I personally loved this movie, and outside of a fictionalized accidental space flight, depicts a bit of what Space Camp offered at the time.

These days, there is much more being offered, including a new Planetarium! We highly suggest choosing the U.S. Space and Rocket Center, as a vacation destination! This 11 1/2 hour drive through scenic America will thrill the entire family. So please, when making your vacation plans this year, at least consider a visit, we definitely rate this as a great destination for a little education via entertainment platform!

Kids, have your parents bring you to our July 20, 2019 Car Show, held at the Collins Center Town Park (Noon - 4:00 pm), participate in our Kid's Choice judging program and you will be entered into a special FREE drawing to win prizes from Space Camp! Make sure you visit our First Moon Walk display (and make sure your parents bring their cameras) have your photo taken as an astronaut! One lucky kid judge will be taking the astronaut home!

You will be able to view the astronaut prior to the car show by visiting our display at our partner site, The Collins Library from July 1 thru July 18. Don't forget to check out how you can win a scholarship to attend Space Camp!

This year, thanks to the partnering help of Doris Brothers, we will also be giving out Participation Ribbons to the first 100 cars registered (and in attendance) for our car show! Don't forget, this is a free event! Registration, parking and admittance are all free! The first 100 registered drivers will also receive a Goody Bag and have a chance to win a trophy (available 1st - 4th place) or Kid's Choice.

A variety of food will be available from local vendors, classic tunes play throughout the event as is the popular trivia for prizes!
