Midland 8 May

The British Schools Dinghy Racing Association Midland Team Racing Championships took place on Saturday 1st May hosted by ODSSA at Farmoor Reservoir. Conditions were very testing for both competitors and Race Officials as the wind came in fits and starts from all points of the compass.

Despite this a total of 35 races were sailed which made it possible to determine a result. Magdalen College School emerged as the overall winners from Eton 1, despite them both being on three wins they had the better points difference. Unfortunately the planned sail of between the teams had to be abandoned as the wind deserted us completely. RGS Guildford were finished in third place.
