A potentially blustery and wet day saw five flights of boats launch for the 32 competing teams. With the decision to sail with Cut Downs made at the start of the day racing continued apace with around 96 stage one races completed before the semi finals. Several teams maintained their 100% win rate nearly to the end with the semi-finalists only being decided by the result from the last few stage 1 races.
The Semi Finals were run in slowly deteriorating conditions. A well deserved final between both Magdalen College School Teams saw MCS 1 retain the Hoad Shield. Thanks go to Tonbridge and Sevenoaks Schools, Bough Beech Sailing Club and all those who helped to deliver the event!
