Definition:

Appreciative Inquiry is a practice that helps people improve without being told what to do. It focuses on the "positive", and identifies things that have worked before. The person practicing AI helps others remember things that have worked well for them, and helps them find ways to build on those recollections to improve the present situation.

    • Forget about blame and problems, follow the Prime Directive

    • Use positive thinking, focus on the possibility that things will work well. Support the possibility by drawing upon similar successes in the past.
