BIOGRAPHIES OF ARTISTS

Katalin Lengyel (HUN) | Freischaffende Tänzerin und Choreographin. Neben ihren eigenen Produktionen hat sie 2010 die Kampanie 'Respect Art' gegründet und fungiert als künstlerische Leiterin des Frissek Minifestival in Budapest, das die neuesten Ideen von PerformancekünstlerInnen zeigt.

Katalin Lengyel is a contemporary dancer and choreographer based in Budapest. Besides making her own work in 2010 she established the art campaign 'Respect Art' and she is the artistic director of the Frissek Minifestival that intends to present the latest ideas of emerging performing artists.

Miss Universe | Autodiktatische Künstlerin, begann mit Visual Arts. Seit 2007 performt sie als Miss Universe bei internationalen Festivals wie u.a. Vienna Art Week, Visibilty Project (Istanbul), Dimanche Rouge (Paris), Body and Word Performance Art Festival (St. Petersburg), International Meeting of Action Art at Pumarejo (Sevilla).

Miss Universe | Autodidactic artist, started in visual arts. Since 2007, she is performing as “Miss Universe”. She performed in international festivals such as Vienna Art Week, Visibilty Project (Istanbul), Dimanche Rouge (Paris), Body and Word Performance Art Festival (St. Petersburg), International Meeting of Action Art at Pumarejo (Sevilla).

Tiina Sööt (EST)| Performance- und bildende Künstlerin. Zur Zeit Studentin des Masterstudiums Performing Arts in Estonian Academy of Arts. Seit 2009 präsentiert sie ihre Gruppen- und Soloperformences in Estland, Lettland, Litauen, Österreich und Deutschland.

Tiina Sööt, born 1986, performance and visual artist. Currently an MA student of performing arts in Estonian Academy of Arts. She has performed with group and solo performances since 2009 in Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Austria and Germany.

Dorothea Julia Zeyringer (AUT) | arbeitet hauptsächlich an kollaborativen Performances, die sich zwischen Bewegung, Sprache und Umgebung befinden. Seit 2010 studiert sie Performance Art (Prof. Carola Dertnig) auf der Akademie der bildenden Künste in Wien.

Dorothea Julia Zeyringer, born 1989 in Vienna, mostly does collaborational performances inbetween choreography of movement, language and surroundings. Since 2010 she studies Performance Art (Prof. Carola Dertnig) at the Academy of Fine Arts, Vienna.

Milka Kresclekovska | studierte internationale Entwicklung in Warschau und London. Während Ihrer Karenzzeit begann sie sich mit Kunst zu beschäftigen.

Seither arbeitet sie autodidaktisch und kollektiv. Ihre Werke sind seit 2011 weltweit zu sehen. Finanziert wird sie von ihrem Ehemann.

Milka Kresclekovska studied international developement in Warsow and London. During her maternity leave she started to be interested in arts. Since this time she learns autodidactic and collectiv. Her works are shown worldwide since 2011. Financially she is supported by her husband.

Tamara Sy | wurde 1984 in Gent geboren und arbeitete bis zu ihrem 22 Lebensjahr mit dem reisenden Zirkus Hipilili. Danach studierte sie Querflöte und Linguistik in Salzburg.

Derzeit probiert sie als freie Kulturschaffende die Wiener Gemütlichkeit aus.

Tamara Sy was born 1084 in Gent and worked until her 22nd birthday with the traveling circus hipilili. Then she moved to Salzburg and studied transverse flute and linguistics. Currently she tries the Viennese cosiness as a freelance cultural worker.

Martina Rösler (AUT)| studierte Tanzpädagogik an der Konservatorium Wien Privatuniversität. 2010 bekam sie ein Stpendium für eine Residency beim iDANS Festval in Istanbul und erhielt 2011 das DanceWEB Stipendium/Impulstanz. Aktuell arbeitet sie zusammen mit dem Verein makemake produktionen, an Reality?, sowie als Choreografn für das Projekt MACHT SCHULE THEATER am DSCHUNGEL Wien.

Martina Rösler was born in 1985 in Klagenfurt and studied pedagogy of dance in Vienna, took one year abroad at Mimar Sinan University in Istanbul and is now finishing her science of theater, film and media studies in vienna. 2010 she recieved a stipendium for a research residency at the iDANS Festival in Istanbul and 2011 she had the DanceWeb stipendium at ImPulsTanz Vienna. Actual she works with makemake productions, with MACHT SCHULE THEATER as a choreographer at DSCHUNGEL Vienna and her own production REALITY?

Stefanie Wieser (AUT)| Diplomausbildung klassischer Tanz, sowie Tanzpädagogik an der Konservatorium Wien Privatuniversität. Weiters erhielt sie das Auslandsstpendium der Kunst- und Kultursekton der Stadt Wien und das Erasmusstpendium. 2011 wurde ihr Solo SPECK im Rahmen von Artist at Resort im Tanz*Hotel Wien sowie in St. Pölten und Brooklyn/New York und Paris gezeigt.

Stefanie Wieser was born in Vienna and graduated from classical dance and pedagogy for dance in Vienna. Receiving a Stipendium by arts- and cultural section of vienna and an erasmusstipendium she was able to study also contemporary dance at conservatoire nationale superieure de dance in Lyon and the escola superior de danca in Lissabon. Her last Solo SPECK was presented in Vienna, St. Pölten, Brooklin/New York and in Paris.

Veronika Mayerböck (AUT)| Freischaffende Tänzerin/Choreografin und Lichtgestalterin. 2009 mit Nachwuchspreis von Posthof Linz und Linz09 prämierte Soloarbeit "A_SLEEP. would you listen?", 2010 START Stipendium für Darstellende Kunst des BMUKK. Performances u.a bei Heimspiel 2011 im Posthof Linz und LNDB/Lentos. 2012 DanceWEB Stipendium/Impulstanz.

Veronika Mayerböck is a freelance dancer, choreographer and light designer living in Vienna. She is fascinated by the symbiosis of dance and architecture and studied both. She worked with Anne Juren, Frans Poelstra&Robert Steijn, Milli Bitterli, Bert Gstettner, Sebastian Prantl, Akemi Takeya and Moe Yamamoto/Butoh Cie Kanazawa Butoh Kann (Japan). She became an award for her Solo "A_SLEEP. woulod you listen?" and a strt stipendium by performin arts section of Austria. Her works were shown in Linz, Vienna, Nürnberg, Stockholm and Dresden.

Gisela Elisa Heredia (AUT/ARG)| Freischaffende Tänzerin/Choreographin. Entwickelte Produktionen im Bereich zeitgenössischer Tanz, Musical und Operette an verschiedenen Bühnen und Festivals in Europa und Südamerika. Seit 2009 ist sie Künstlerische Leiterin des Vereins tanz.coop in Wien und gründete das Festival TanzTag.

Gisela Heredia was born 1979 in Córdoba, Argentina and lives as a freelance dancer and choreographer in Vienna. She studied dance at Universidad Nacional de Córdoba in Argentina and was part of the Ensemble UNC of the Company desde el Vamos. 2003 she came to Vienna and studied pedagogy of dance, graduating in 2008. She is the leader of tanz.coop and founded the festival TanzTag (danceday on 29th of april), which was this year for the 4th time. She performed in Vienna, Belgum, Frankfurt, Linz, Nürnberg, Dornbirn, St. Pölten, and in South America.
