Cardinal Learn Course IDs
Example: BB_101_01_1198_1
- The first grouping stands for the Course Subject (ex: BB stands for Blackboard, PHIL for Philosophy, etc).
- The second grouping is the Course Number (ex: 101).
- The third grouping is the Section Number (ex: 01).
- The fourth grouping is the Term (Semester) Code (ex: 1198).
- The last number is the Session (ex: 1)
Cardinal Students Term Code
Example: BB_101_01_1198_1
- 1198 The Term Code itself contains four digits. The first of these digits will ALWAYS be “1”.
- 1198 The next two digits designate the year. Our example course began in the year 2019, so the middle two digits of the Term Code are “19”.
- 1198 The last digit designates the month in which the course begins. Our example course began in August (FALL), so the last digit in the Term is “8”; SPRING = "1" for January, SUMMER = "5" for May. There are some exceptions with Summer ("5") courses beginning in April.
