FIRE ALARM: Constant “low, loud, buzzing”
TORNADO ALARM: class bell except for a longer duration
Students are to remain calm, serious, and orderly as they quickly proceed to the nearest exit for fire drills and to their designated safety area for tornado drills.
The Civil Defense and weather station are able to give us some warning on approaching tornadoes. When the school is notified of a tornado watch, each will be informed by phone or intercom of this information.
When a tornado warning siren is sounded, teachers will take their students to the designated shelter area.
All clear information will be given after the storm passes.
