Black-and-white Ruffed Lemurs

Luna

Pronounced: LOO-nuh

Sex: Female

DOB: 5/6/2009

Luna has a long body and muzzle with more white under her chin when compared to Malaky. She has yellow eyes and is missing a pinky on her right hand.

Malaky

Pronounced: MAL-uh-kye

Sex: Female

DOB: 4/16/2008

Place of birth: Zoo Atlanta

Malaky has a very dark face compared to the other black-and-white ruffed lemurs. She can be very vocal and occasionally lifts her left hand over her head while eating. Her eyes are more orange in color.

Crowned Lemurs

Bryan

Pronounced: BRI-yen

Sex: Male

DOB: 4/12/2021

Bryan has brown coloration but is smaller than Xonsu and has a narrow face.

Sava

Pronounced: SAH-vuh

Sex: Female

DOB: 4/14/2014

Sava is the only female crowned lemur at the Zoo. She has grey coloration and a full face.

Xonsu

Pronounced: ZON-zoo

Sex: Male

DOB: 4/21/2013

Xonsu has brown coloration but is the adult male of the crowned lemur group. He often has a small bald spot where the brown color meets his black crown.

Ring-Tailed Lemurs

Julius

Pronounced: JU-lee-us

Sex: Male

DOB: 3/6/2004

Julius has a small body size, very pointy ears and the shortest tail of the ring-tailed lemurs. His left eye is discolored, slightly larger than the right, and/or the pupil dilated.

Neal

Pronounced: NEEL

Sex: Male

DOB: 3/9/2004

Neal has a large body size, very prominent canines, a lot of dark coloring around his eyes, a prominent grey widow's peak, and his left ear is shorter than his right ear.
