三年級中文老師上
In this last unit of P3, we are going to study the books from another author called Leo Lionni. He has written many children books. Students are going to write a playscript based on one of Leo Lionni’s stories, which is also the project of Term 3. Grammar items will cover future tense, articles, preposition of time, place, position and direction. In RC lessons, students should be able to identify author’s point of view and they also need to find causes and effects from the passage. Phonics sounds include “ch, tch, tu, sh, ci, ti, s, si” and that’s the end of students’ phonic lessons in their primary stage.
P3 will learn about addition and subtraction of fractions, comparing capacities directly, measuring and comparing capacities using improvised units, recording capacities using litre and millilitre, measuring with appropriate tools and units and bar charts.
The theme of unit 6 is ‘Healthy Life’. Students will learn how to take care of themselves and others when they are ill, as well as the harm that smoking, drinking and drug abuse can cause. Students will not only pay attention to caring for their physical health, but also their emotional wellbeing. Recognising and respecting other people’s emotions, in addition to communicating their own feelings in appropriate ways, are some of the key learning objectives. Students will only need their ‘My Health’ workbook and self-learning guide for this unit.
