　　大家好！三年級第二單元安排如下：

1. 繼續學習《我愛學語文》三上1冊的課文，本單元我們將開始詩歌教學，包括《角度》、《想》、《小旅行的加減乘除》和《贈劉景文》，同學們也會學習寫詩。

2. 10月18日是第二次默書，11月1日是小測，請留意日期及範圍，提前溫習。

3. 11月將進行圖書教學，屆時派發圖書《多多社長》，教完後需要歸還給學校，請小心保管。

三年級中文老師上

　　In Unit 2, students are going to learn to write a fractured fairy tale. Students will love to come up with their own version of their favourite fairy tale.

　　For grammar, students will consolidate the use of simple past tense in the fairy tales. We’ll also cover the topics of definite pronouns and conjunctions.

　　For RC skills, we’ll focus on the narrative point of view, problems and solutions in non-fiction texts and analyzing the setting from the passage.

Mathematics

　　P3 will learn about problems related to time (find the starting time), seconds, dividing a 2-digit / 3-digit number by a 1-digit number, divided or quotient with 0, and division with a 2-digit quotient.

In Unit 2, students will learn about the properties of heat and how it affects our daily lives. Students will investigate how it is produced, and how it is transferred. Then, students will explore the different aspects of sound. They’ll not only study how sounds are made, but also the importance of protecting their hearing. For this unit, students will need the ‘Sound and Animals’ workbook with the corresponding Self Learning Guide ‘Fun Nature’. The Self Learning Guide and additional worksheet ‘The Wonder of Heat and Sound’ will be handed out to students in class.
